MONTPELIER – Union Mutual is happy to announce the Firm’s Buyer Assist Supervisor, Alyssa Pierce, was lately acknowledged by Vermont Enterprise Journal as a “Rising Star” in recognition of her contributions to the group and the Vermont financial system as an excellent younger chief.
The Rising Star program acknowledges 40 people below the age of 40 from the State of Vermont. The people are chosen by a panel of judges for his or her dedication to enterprise development, skilled excellence and involvement of their communities.
“It’s great to see Alyssa acknowledged as a Rising Star,” Union Mutual President & CEO Lisa Keysar mentioned of Pierce. “She is a valued worker who makes use of her expertise to be an issue solver and likewise conjures up others by actively pursuing alternatives for skilled improvement.”
Pierce joined the Firm in 2015 and took part within the Firm’s “Worker Growth Program,” an immersive 2-year coaching program throughout which the worker spends time working in every division of the Firm. After graduating from that Program, Pierce was promoted to Buyer Assist Technical Lead, and later to Buyer Assist Supervisor. She presently leads a workforce of 9 staff that help the claims, underwriting, and billing capabilities of the Firm, and have direct interplay with brokers and insureds. Alyssa has been an energetic fundraiser and volunteer for a wide range of group organizations together with Particular Olympics Vermont and the Kelly Brush Basis.
