Convex Group Ltd., the worldwide specialty insurer and reinsurer, introduced it has obtained in-principle approval to launch Lloyd’s Syndicate 1984, which can start underwriting in April 2025.
Convex mentioned it has labored with its advisers Gallagher Re and Asta, which has been appointed because the managing agent.
Syndicate 1984 can be led by lively underwriter, Jacqueline Wiffen, UK CUO for insurance coverage at Convex, and has an preliminary goal to underwrite £150 million of gross written premium in 2025.
