CHL, the last word father or mother firm of Conduit Re, a multi-line Bermuda-based reinsurance enterprise, introduced the appointment of Nick Pritchard as interim chief underwriting officer with quick impact, following the choice by Gregory Roberts to depart Conduit and return to the UK for private causes.
This announcement comes on the heels of one other main departure in March when Conduit Re’s Chief Government Officer Trevor Carvey decided to step down and retire, efficient April 11.
Neil Eckert, government chairman, has assumed the tasks of interim chief government officer with quick impact.
“We have now an especially gifted underwriting crew, and the appointment of Nick Pritchard displays his appreciable expertise, management and underwriting imaginative and prescient for the way forward for Conduit Re,” commented Eckert, in a press release.
“The Board of Administrators thanks Gregory for his contribution to Conduit Re because the enterprise was launched in 2020 and needs him effectively in his future endeavours,” he added.
Pritchard joined Conduit in September 2024 and has greater than 20 years of business expertise within the Bermuda and London markets, with a background in main underwriting groups and structuring portfolios of threat and retrocessional applications.
