The Latin American Affiliation of Insurance coverage Companies and the Spencer Instructional Basis have introduced faculty risk-management and insurance coverage scholarship winners for 2024.
Mendoza Lunatti, an incoming senior at Southeastern College in Lakeland, Florida, majoring in math and finance; and Manuel Martorell, a senior at Saint Joseph’s College in Philadelphia, have proven educational prowess and a dedication to the insurance coverage business, LAAIA mentioned in an announcement.
The scholarships embrace a stipend to attend the LAAIA Annual Conference in Marco Island, Florida, Aug. 21-24. Spencer, a non-profit established in 1979 by the Atlanta chapter of RIMS, the Threat Administration Society, yearly supplies scholarship funding for high college students in threat administration and insurance coverage.
Awards vary from $5,000 to $10,000, Spencer’s net web page reveals.
