Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has reaapointed Neera Bahl to a different time period on the state Board of Employees’ Compensation.
The three-member board, which incorporates Director Benjamin Vinson and Chairman Frank McKay, acts because the appeals panel, listening to appeals from administrative regulation judges in claims disputes.
The board additionally works with a state advisory council to develop employees’ compensation insurance policies and modifications to statute.
Kemp first appointed Bahl in 2020. She immigrated from India in 1979 and earned her regulation diploma at John Marshall Legislation College in Atlanta.
