OCALA, Fla. (AP) — A Florida Freeway Patrol trooper fatally shot a suspect throughout an altercation at a central Florida hospital on Friday, authorities mentioned.
The altercation occurred within the emergency division at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, Florida, in line with a press release from the hospital. The unidentified suspect died when the trooper used lethal drive, the Ocala Police Division mentioned in a press release.
No legislation enforcement officers or hospital employees had been injured. The freeway patrol requested the Florida Division of Legislation Enforcement to analyze the taking pictures, in line with the police division.
No additional particulars had been launched.
Ocala is positioned about 80 miles (129 kilometers) northwest of Orlando.
