Firefighters have elevated containment on the Park Fireplace close to Chico, California, which at 621-square-miles as of Friday is now the fourth largest wildfire in historical past.
The fireplace, which covers elements of 4 counties—Butte, Plumas, Shasta and Tehama—has an enormous quantity of assets assigned to it. Greater than 6,000 firefighters, 537 engines, 148 water tenders and 41 helicopters are combating the blaze.

The Park Fireplace began on July 24. A Chico man accused of setting the fireplace by pushing a flaming automobile right into a grassy space was arrested, and he has stated it was an accident.
