Governor Mike Parson introduced that Mick Campbell will take over because the Performing Director of the Division of Commerce and Insurance coverage (DCI) efficient January 1, 2025. Campbell at the moment serves because the Commissioner of Finance for DCI.
“We have now introduced that Mick Campbell will function appearing director of the Division of Commerce and Insurance coverage for the rest of our administration,” Governor Parson stated in an announcement. “Mick answered our name to function Commissioner of Finance in 2022, and we thank him for answering our name now. He has impressed us along with his management and we’re assured in his skill to guide DCI for the rest of my time in workplace.”
Campbell has served because the Commissioner of Finance since being appointed by Governor Parson in June 2023. He steps quickly into the position beforehand held by Director Chlora Lindley-Myers who introduced her retirement efficient December 31.
Previous to his position as Commissioner of Finance, Mick had been serving as Performing Commissioner since January 2022 and beforehand held the position of Deputy Commissioner. He has been with the Division of Finance since 2004. A lifelong Missouri resident and native of Mt. Vernon, he holds a Grasp of Enterprise Administration and Bachelor of Administrative Administration from Missouri State College.
