Wisconsin Man Charged With Crop Insurance coverage Fraud

A Wisconsin man has been charged with defrauding the Federal Crop Insurance coverage Program, the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace for the Western District of Wisconsin introduced.

Lance G. Meier, 52, Ogema, is charged with defrauding the federal crop insurance coverage program. The indictment alleges that on September 30, 2019, Meier submitted a fraudulent Wells Fargo financial institution assertion to the Federal Crop Insurance coverage Company in reference to reinstating his crop insurance coverage.

If convicted, Meier faces a most penalty of 30 years in jail.
