North Dakota Commissioner Godfread to Function NAIC President

North Dakota Insurance coverage Commissioner Jon Godfread will function the president of the Nationwide Affiliation of Insurance coverage Commissioners (NAIC) for 2025 after serving as president-elect in 2024.

As NAIC president, Godfread will lead the chief insurance coverage regulators in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 5 U.S. territories in enhancing regulatory collaboration and selling insurance coverage competitiveness and accessibility.

Godfread will lead the NAIC alongside commissioners from Virginia, Rhode Island and Utah. The 2025 officers had been elected on the 2025 NAIC Fall Nationwide Assembly in Denver.
